Our procedure is what makes us unique at The Mole Doctor. We use radiofrequency ablation to remove moles and skin tags, which is similar to a laser but more precise. This premium medical technology allows our surgeon to remove the mole and skin tag at the root. The mole and skin tag is removed gently layer by layer. The procedure is non-invasive and gentle on the skin, so there is minimal to no scarring left. Not only does it leave cosmetically pleasing results, but the recovery time is quick.
Our procedure is fairly quick and non-invasive. Patients are able to go back to their normal everyday activities after the procedure. For the best results possible, we advise patients to keep the area that was treated bandaged and clean for up to 10 days after the procedure. It is also important to keep the area treated dry and out of the sun and water for up to 10 days after the procedure. We give all our patients a recovery skincare gel that helps speed up the healing process and reduces any kind of scarring. The area that was treated will go back to its normal skin color within 3 months after the procedure.

At The Mole Doctor, we have access to premium medical technology. We use radio frequency ablation to remove moles. This technique is similar to a laser, but more precise, effective and it’s non-invasive. Our surgeons are able to remove the mole gently at the root, making for the best cosmetic results. We can effectively treat a variety of different moles including: flat moles, raised moles, big moles, small moles, brown moles, and black moles. Dr. Mole™ can remove moles on any area of the body or face, such as: eyelid, lip, nose, cheek, neck, back, chest, arms and legs.
Before the procedure patients must have a consultation with our board-certified surgeons, who perform the procedures. During the consultation the surgeon will examine the mole and make sure you are a good candidate for the treatment and answer any questions or concerns a patient may have. If the patient decides to move forward and get their mole removed they have the option to do it right then and there. Before the procedure starts the surgeon will numb the area of the removal with general anesthesia that is injected with a tiny needle. The procedure is painless but we want to ensure all patients are comfortable throughout the procedure.
Our surgeon uses a pencil-like device that has a metal loop on the top to remove the mole layer by layer in a gentle manner. The procedure usually takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, depending on the size of the mole and the amount of moles being treated.
After the procedure our medical assistants go over after-care instructions with patients. The aftercare for mole removal is fairly simple. Patients must keep the area of the removal clean and bandaged up for up to 10 days after the procedure. It is also important to keep the area out of the water and direct sunlight for 10 days. We give patients a skincare recovery gel that they must apply to the area of the removal everyday. This gel helps speed up the healing process and prevent scarring. The skin will usually go back to its normal skin color within 3 months after the procedure.
At The Mole Doctor, we have a state-of-the-art clinic with premium medical technology. We use radio frequency ablation to remove skin tags with little to no scarring. Our surgeon is able to remove the skin tag gently at the root, making for the best cosmetic results.
Skin tags, medically known as acrochordons, are benign growths. They often look like soft, hanging pieces of skin and can vary in size. These growths are typically flesh-colored or slightly darker and are usually found in areas where the skin folds or rubs together, such as the neck, armpits and under the breasts. Though they are harmless and non-cancerous, skin tags can cause discomfort or irritation. The growth of skin tags is not known, but several factors can contribute to them appearing. Friction from skin rubbing against skin is a common cause. Another common cause for skin tags is hormonal changes, such as those during pregnancy. Other contributing factors include obesity, diabetes, and certain medical conditions.
