At The Mole Doctor™ , we use advanced technology to deliver safe, effective, and permanent results for those seeking to remove their mole or skin tag. Our radio frequency ablation technique is a modern, minimally invasive method that offers greater precision and more natural-looking results in comparison to conventional removal methods like surgical shaving or excision. This technique works by gently targeting the mole at its root and destroying the mole tissue without damaging the surrounding healthy skin, helping to ensure the best possible cosmetic outcome with little to no scarring.
We can effectively remove many types of moles including flat moles, raised moles, small moles, big moles, flesh-colored moles, black or brown moles, and we can also remove moles from virtually anywhere on the body such as: arms, legs, eyelids, face, back, nose, cheek, lips, and neck.

Before you can get your mole removed, you will have a consultation with one of our mole doctors where they will evaluate your mole, make sure it is not cancerous, and ensure that you are a candidate for our radio frequency ablation technique. Our doctors will also answer any questions or concerns you may have about the procedure, and afterwards you have the option to get your mole removed right away! The doctor will numb the area of removal with general anesthesia, and after 10 minutes the procedure can begin!
We use a pencil-like device that gently removes the mole tissue layer by layer. The procedure can take anywhere from 15-60 minutes depending on the size and severity of the mole, as well as how many moles you want to get removed.
After your procedure, the doctor will explain in detail the steps you need to take to effectively take care of the removal site and prevent scarring. The steps include keeping the area clean and bandaged for up to 10 days, as well as avoiding direct contact with water for 3 days and avoiding direct sunlight exposure until you can apply sunscreen. We offer 2 healing creams available for purchase that are intended to help speed up the healing process and prevent any scarring. Within 3-4 months after the procedure, your wound typically will fully heal.
